The name Niskus comes from the river god of the Hamble — a nod to our home waters and a symbol of the link between tradition, the sea, and modern racing.
Niskus Performance began in 2022 with the aim of bringing advanced data analysis to sailing. What started on the River Hamble has since grown into supporting yachts at every level, from professional offshore campaigns to weekend club racing.

In 2024, after completing a Masters degree in Applied Meteorology, Aura Weather was founded as a natural extension of this vision. By combining high-resolution forecasting with performance analytics, we now provide complete solutions that bring together performance, weather, and strategy.

Today, Niskus Performance and Aura Weather work side by side to help teams sail smarter, faster, and with greater confidence — turning complex data into clear, actionable insights on the racecourse.
